This chapter is for users with the Admin application role who see the System section in the sidebar.
Everyone else can skip this chapter.

Hangfire is a background job engine. The dashboard lets authorised administrators see:
- Succeeded and failed jobs.
- Recurring schedules (for example nightly syncs, reminder generation, document expiry scans — exact jobs depend on deployment).
- Monitor failures daily in production; retry only when you understand root cause.
- Do not delete recurring jobs or purge history without change control — other teams may rely on audit.
- Escalate code defects to development with job name, parameters, and stack trace.
- Do not use Hangfire to track human tasks — staff use My Tasks (
/my-tasks) for that.
- Do not share admin credentials for convenience.
